Training Coordinator
Carlex Glass America, LLC is seeking a Training Coordinator to manage the plant's Learning and Development function. The role involves developing and implementing training programs, collaborating with department managers, and ensuring training aligns with business objectives.

Responsibilities
Manage the plant’s overall Learning and Development function by being a hands-on leader developing and implementing an approved annual training schedule while providing the training resources to obtain the L&D objectives
Develop, standardize, and implement the plant’s learning and development processes and procedures
Collaborate with Department Managers and extended team members at all levels as a performance consultant by using relevant information and analysis to proactively identify key leverage points for training to best support achievement of the business objectives
Includes new strategic initiatives and/or closing identified performance gaps
Conduct plant-wide Training Needs Assessment by comprehending the strategic priorities and needs to ensure business requirements align accordingly

Maintain thorough knowledge of the company, market, products, and industry to design and implement effective training programs across all levels
Lead cross-functional teams, make strategic goals for trainings clear to team members, and motivate team to achieve results with constant focus on performance
Develop product content for training initiatives with and without vendor support to enhance performance of employees
Revised content, material, and resources within the training curriculum so that it is current and in alignment with the business strategy
Provide input and/or develop product, position, and department specific training
Collaborate with training delivery points to localize training for various facilities to ensure customization and to meet specific business needs
Develop and execute evaluation strategies for training deliverables
Conduct and facilitate training as required
Serve as project manager for coordination, planning, and implementation of plant-wide training initiatives
Maintain annual training plan/calendar ensuring training courses are scheduled and delivered on-time and effectively
Ensure delivery of new employee orientation sessions
Develop and deliver on-the-job training program for new hires
Determine technical training (when appropriate); schedule accordingly ensuring goals are met
Maintain the Carlex Learning Management System
Select, coordinate & evaluate online training courses
Assess & evaluate instructor performance and course/program effectiveness; provide recommendations for improvement
Develop testing and evaluation procedures
Track, monitor and report workforce training metrics
Develop and/or utilize training surveys to identify needs based on projected production processes, changes, or other business factors
Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs
Develop and maintain the one- to three-year Carlex strategic learning and development plan
Develop training manuals, multimedia visual aids or other instructional and educational materials
Develop materials for in-house training
Plan, develop & provide trainer development programs using current best practices for methods such as classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings and workshops
Develop and deliver Train-The-Trainer workshops
Review and evaluate training programs for compliance with government standards
Develop business relationships with approved external learning providers
Work with training providers to develop suitable course content and/or deliver training
Prepare individual development/learning plans
Measure ROI of training programs
Develop and implement a Management Training program including conducting training courses
Collaborate with Human Resources/ Plant Leadership on succession planning strategy
Manage, guide and coach Learning and Development team members
Identify and collaborate with internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design and develop training courses
Collaborate with Managers and Supervisors on Employee Engagement Program
Qualification
Required
BS or BA in Instructional Design, Instructional or Educational Technology, Education, Communications, Human Resources, or other related discipline
Minimum of two years' experience in training and development
Minimum of two years in a supervisory position
Ability to relate to staff at all levels
Ability to encourage and motivate people
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to plan ahead and manage individual and team's time
Excellent Presentation skills

Ability to write reports, keep records and work within planned budgets
Excellent communication skills
