Responsibilities

Telematics Program Management: Manage, maintain, and continuously improve the telematics program supporting 1,900+ fleet assets, ensuring reliable performance and alignment with operational needs
Hardware Oversight: Oversee telematics hardware inventory, including tracking, lifecycle management, replacements, and coordination of defective equipment exchanges with vendors and operations
Technical & Operational Support: Provide daily support for telematics software, applications, and hardware issues, delivering timely troubleshooting and resolution for operational teams
Vendor & Department Liaison: Serve as the primary liaison between telematics vendors and internal departments, facilitating communication and ensuring efficient issue resolution
Data Analysis & Insights: Extract, analyze, and interpret fleet and telematics data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improved efficiency and cost control
Reporting & Dashboard Development: Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and performance metrics that support fleet optimization and operational decision‑making
Process Improvement Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders and vendors to evaluate large data sets and implement data-driven process improvements
Performance Reviews: Conduct monthly and ad‑hoc fleet performance reviews, highlighting key results and recommending strategies for improvement

Required

Background working with telematics programs and hardware, with demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret large data sets across multiple sources
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), advanced Excel functions (V‑Lookups, pivot tables, charts/graphs), and experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence/data analysis tools
Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities, including the capacity to document processes clearly, cross‑reference data, and present intuitive, actionable insights
Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. Detail‑oriented with strong judgment, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast‑paced environment
Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and maintain accuracy under pressure

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Informatics, Data Science, Business Administration
Prior fleet related experience with telematics hardware, firmware and software
