Procurement and Logistics Manager, U.S Rebuild

Samaritan's Purse is seeking a Procurement & Logistics Manager to join our team in North Wilkesboro, NC. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the sourcing, purchasing, transportation, and distribution of goods and services for U.S Rebuild, ensuring cost-effective procurement and efficient logistics operations.

Responsibilities

Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
Support U.S. Rebuild leadership by managing procurement and logistics functions and proactively securing services and products to meet organizational needs in a timely and cost-effective manner
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives, including sourcing, evaluating, negotiating with, and managing suppliers and contracts to ensure value, quality, and compliance
Lead workforce management activities, including screening, hiring, onboarding, training, and conducting performance evaluations for staff, as well as facilitating regular weekly team meetings to drive alignment and performance
Manage, prepare, and monitor procurement and logistics budgets, analyzing data to identify risks, trends, and opportunities for improvement, and delivering regular, actionable reports to senior management
Travel to field sites as needed to support temporary procurement setup and training efforts, while building trusted relationships and collaborating effectively with vendors and partners through negotiation and ongoing engagement

Required

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and two (2) to three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to build and maintain an effective team
Ability to work well under pressure in difficult situations
Highly effective communication skills including written and oral
Ability to adapt quickly to changing conditions
General knowledge of Excel and Word, and ability to learn in-house specialized computer applications
Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Transportation Medical Card
Fluency in English

Preferred

Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies preferred, not required
