Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor computer systems and devices used for data acquisition and analysis
Manage computer media through automated processing systems to ensure accurate and timely disposition of deliveries
Support shipment activities related to fleet support operations, ensuring compliance with organizational requirements
Respond to data processing problems, troubleshoot errors, and implement corrective procedures
Refer complex issues that lack pre-planned solutions to higher-level specialists for resolution
Maintain knowledge of Combat Systems shipboard library organization and requirements, including Navy library CM concepts and tools such as ACCESS, VIEWNET, and DOCMS
Assist in training team members on data management processes and tools
Coordinate with various departments to ensure data integrity and security
Perform routine maintenance and updates on computer systems and media to optimize performance

Required

At least one year of experience managing, shipping, and/or receiving unclassified computer media and documentation
A high school diploma is required
Experience troubleshooting media errors and resolving data processing problems efficiently
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office software
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members, supervisors, and external contacts
Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team
Good judgment and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to perform periodic twisting, bending, and squatting
A security clearance at the Secret level, which mandates U.S. citizenship
