FMLA Specialist

Responsibilities
Independently approve and/or deny FMLA cases based on medical information
Coordinate and organize medical information, monitoring HIPAA and employee privacy compliance
Review and assess FMLA leave practices, proposing revisions for accuracy, efficiency, and communication
Counsel employees, supervisors, and management regarding FMLA rights and responsibilities while maintaining confidentiality
Manage FMLA leave applications, periods of leave, and return-to-work processes
Qualification
Required
3 to 5 years of experience with FMLA leave
Experience in leave management, HR, or related fields
Preferred
Knowledge of ADA (American Disability Act) and other benefit leaves is preferred
