Responsibilities
Facilitate day-to-day manufacturing operations, including production scheduling, material handling, and equipment maintenance
Assist in monitoring and analyzing production metrics to drive continuous improvement
Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
Participate in problem-solving activities to address production issues and minimize downtime
Facilitate the implementation of quality control measures to ensure product quality
Receive and follow detailed written instructions on work assignments
Interface with team members to solve defined issues and complete tasks
Qualification
Required
Must be a US Citizen
Be enrolled (or a recent graduate in the past year) at Saint Petersburg College (SPC) in a relevant certification program, an A.S, or B.S. degree program
Be interested in full-time employment immediately upon successful completion of the summer internship program
Be proficient in reading and writing in the English language
Preferred

Good communication skills
Ability to set priorities
Ability to work independently and in a team
Knowledge of lean manufacturing ethics and continuous improvement methodologies
Familiarity with production planning and scheduling software
