They are hiring Automation Summer Student Interns to gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment while supporting Automation and Maintenance teams with basic equipment troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and assembly line operations.

Responsibilities
Shadow Automation Technicians to observe daily operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities
Develop an understanding of assembly line workflow, production processes, and line changeovers across multiple lines
Learn and apply basic hand tools and assist with preventative maintenance on assembly line equipment
Assist with troubleshooting assembly line equipment and conveyor systems under guidance of Automation or Maintenance staff
Gradually support responses to service and repair requests, including basic troubleshooting
Assist with Central Palletizer preventative maintenance (PM) and minor repairs
Support maintenance and upkeep of wrapping machines
Participate in cross-training with Maintenance and share responsibilities as appropriate
Demonstrate initiative, accountability, and a proactive “Can-Do” attitude in all assigned tasks
Qualification
Required
Must be 16 years of age or older and currently enrolled in high school or college
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred
Interest in automation, manufacturing, maintenance, or technical trades preferred
Willingness to learn in a hands-on industrial environment
