Responsibilities
Understand a part's requirements based on AMSE Y14.5 based drawings
Plan work-holding methodology
Program tool-paths utilizing HSM
Set up and operate various CNC machines
Use metrology tools required to validate parts are manufactured within tolerance
Document work via project database and periodic reports
Qualification
Required
3+ years experience or related degree
In depth understanding of GD&T is required
Work holding setup best practices
Experience with machining aluminum, stainless steel, and plastics
Ability to communicate trade ideas to coworkers
Ability to lift
Preferred
NGC Controller experience beneficial
Aerospace, oil & gas, automotive, or tool/mold experience a plus
Autodesk HSM/Inventor CAM experience a plus
