Conduct assessments and inspections of HVAC systems
Compare construction documents with physical installation
Provide written reports regarding level of compliance
Interact with site personnel and clients
Travel to project site(s) is required daily in San Diego area
Qualification
Required
Ideal candidates will possess a BSME, BSEE or BSAE w/mechanical or electrical specialty, EIT 4 years' experience in the engineering design and/or evaluation of building mechanical and HVAC
PE licensure a plus
Demonstrated communication skills, problem solving skills, and organizational skills
Working knowledge of HVAC systems is required, along with a fundamental knowledge of electrical and fire protection systems
Candidates will possess a working knowledge of national and state building codes for HVAC systems
The ability to communicate in a professional manner, remain organized, and multitask are essential
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and/or PlanGrid
Travel to project site(s) is required daily in San Diego area
