New Grad, Entry LevelOerlikon is a global leader in surface technologies and advanced materials, and they are seeking an Inspector for their Wixom, MI facility. The Inspector will be responsible for inspecting customer products, ensuring quality control, and participating in continuous improvement activities.

Responsibilities
Receive and inspect customer product for processing
Inspect the finished product
Participate in continuous improvement activities
Learn new skills and cross-train into various departments
Act as a member of the monthly ‘Quality Council’
Visual inspection of tools for proper coating
Learning defixturing techniques
Post quantities being shipped into the computer system
Pack customer parts for shipping
Use XRF equipment to document coating thickness
Use various shipping software
Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribes safety regulations
Must conform to current health, environmental, and safety standards
Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Management
Qualification
Required
High School graduate or GED
Effective verbal /writing skills
Ability to read/write/speak English
Must be comfortable working with hands and be able to lift 44lbs
Individual must have strong work ethic, be high-energy, and detail oriented
Preferred
Prior machine operator experiences preferred
