Responsibilities
Assist engineers in the preparation of contract documents
Supports a project team in the development of design documentation, plans, and reports for relevant project design elements
Helps to collect topographic data in the field
Performs calculations to analyze and design civil system components using company standard software and proprietary manufacturer software
Design and drafting, review of drawings and calculations, and field inspection
Qualification
Required
Enrolled in an engineering or geomatics program working toward earning a bachelor's degree (minimum)
Minimum requirements include Microsoft Office Suite and some exposure to AutoCAD Civil 3D Design programs
Enthusiastic, and motivated to learn and develop technical skills
Ability to collaborate with professionals and work independently
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Specific coursework or exposure to one or more of the following: Planning, grading design, utility infrastructure, stormwater management, surveying and construction management
