Responsibilities
Organizes and plans maintenance tasks for restoring and maintaining C5ISR equipment, facilities, and infrastructure. Maintenance shall be conducted in accordance with equipment documentation, applicable technical specifications, and industry standard sound maintenance techniques and practices
Develops recommendations and analysis for repair cost estimates
Performs on-site and off-site maintenance tasks for all systems
Collects and processes operational and maintenance data for special reports and requests for information
Coordinates with Government Technical Leads to ensure that all test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment (TMDE) (located within C5ISR Center Headquarters and its subordinate directorates) is maintained and calibrated IAW manufacturers’ specifications
Collects and provides all equipment utilization data in support of the Equipment Management Program to identify equipment that is no longer used or serviceable
Analyzes current operating procedures for compliance with DA Regulations and provides recommendations for change in writing to the current SOPs
Maintains accountability for all CCI equipment (sustaining base or project) IAW current regulations to include all accountability reporting requirements and quarterly inventories
Qualification
Required
Detail-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills
Experience in the oversight of load testing and certification for Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including forklifts, hand forks, cranes for C5ISR Center organizations
Experience monitoring and tracking accountability, maintenance and utilization for Army-owned non-tactical vehicles (NTV), Tactical Vehicles and miscellaneous equipment
Experience in the oversight of Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) calibration and equipment repair support
Experience managing, inspecting, and scheduling periodic preventive maintenance and services for equipment
Experience coordinating Modification Work Orders for equipment
Knowledge and familiarity to put into practice the following Army Regulations and Technical Bulletins: AR 750-1 Army Material Maintenance Policy, SA PAM 750-1, Maintenance of Supplies and Equipment, Commanders' Maintenance Handbook, AR 750-43, Army Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment, TB 43-0142, Safety Inspection and Testing of Lifting Devices, AR 600-55 Army Driver and Operator Standardization Program, AR58-1, Management, Acquisition, and Use of Motor Vehicles, TB43-180 Calibration and Repair Requirements for the Maintenance of Army Material
ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret
Associates degree or 2-year technical school with five (5) years of experience required
Forklift Operator Certification GCSS Army and Logistics Certification (CLA) required
High School diploma with eight (8) years of experience may substitute a degree
