Responsibilities
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as directed
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office areas, lobbies, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter points to help to identify unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations
Monitor access points and technology systems such as badges, visitor logs, cameras, and alarms as assigned, and report irregularities according to post orders
Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed
Complete timely security-related reports, including incident documentation, patrol logs, and shift activity summaries, and communicate pertinent information during shift turnovers
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred
CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire
