Responsibilities
Assist in planning and managing commercial electrical projects from kickoff through completion
Coordinate project schedules, manpower planning, and material procurement
Track project budgets, change orders, RFIs, and submittals
Serve as a communication link between field crews, subcontractors, vendors, GCs, and internal teams
Attend jobsite meetings and coordinate with general contractors and inspectors
Monitor project progress and help resolve field issues as they arise
Support project closeout, including punch lists, as-builts, O&M manuals, and final documentation
Ensure compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and contract requirements
Qualification
Required
1–4 years of experience in construction project management, project coordination, or electrical contracting
Understanding of commercial construction processes and jobsite operation
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and schedules
Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office with a strong emphasis in Excel
Experience specifically in the commercial electrical field
Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
Comfortable working between the office and the field
Proactive problem-solver who communicates clearly and professionally
Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Willingness to learn and grow into larger project responsibilities
Preferred
Familiarity with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and billing processes
Knowledge of scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar)
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
Electrical license or field experience (apprentice/journeyman) is a plus
