Responsibilities

Supports defense requirements with enhanced scientific/technical research, capability analysis, reverse engineering, vulnerability analysis, development, implementation, and material assessments
Analysis assessments, and production can include independent research, technical writing, designing, implementing, and consulting on robotic systems. This includes but is not limited to mechanical engineering and sub-disciplines of acoustical engineering, manufacturing, fluid dynamics, physics, power engineering, and finite element analysis
Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required

Current Secret clearance
Desired to have 12 years of experience conducting research, development, and production with at least one year of the experience within the last 2 years
Desired to have a Master's degree in a related field
State of Florida Professional Engineer license, or PE endorsement licensure in Florida if active PE license is from another state
Demonstrates professional knowledge through one or more of the following certifications: Certified Automation Professional (CAP), Certified Control Systems Technician (CSST), Master Certified Electronics Technician (CETma)
Demonstrates ability to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, and/or technically advanced
Demonstrates ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other organizations, and engineering disciplines
Demonstrates ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction
Demonstrates ability to collaborate and work with other USG entities on information sharing, driving development, and addressing disputes and conflict resolution
Demonstrates ability to develop and produce concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for non-engineer stakeholders
Provides expert guidance on selecting, designing, and applying engineering methodologies
Advanced ability to design, build, and integrate systems as required
Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen AND an active Secret clearance
