They are seeking an intern to join their maintenance department, contributing to projects related to equipment reliability and preventative maintenance strategies while gaining hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities
Assisting with root cause analysis of failed equipment such as pumps, hoists, and valves
Helping to review and update equipment preventative maintenance strategies ranging from frequency to scope changes consistent with manufacturer and industry recommendations
Work directly with the instrumentation and electrical supervisor to create detailed work instructions for rebuilds and repairs of common equipment
Help perform preventative maintenance activities ranging from calibration of level transmitters, cleaning IR detectors and testing of high-level switches
Work closely with I&E technicians, utilities and operations personnel to help keep the production areas running in a safe and reliable manner
Qualification
Required
College student or recent graduate in electrical, mechanical, chemical, maintenance engineering or related field
Experience with industrial equipment like pumps, motors, valves, actuators, etc
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
