Responsibilities
Conducts detailed testing and quality assurance activities to ensure software and systems meet specified requirements
Develops comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts based on the framework
Executes tests and documents results meticulously. Identifies, logs, and tracks defects through resolution, ensuring compliance with DIA standards
Collaborates with development teams to communicate findings and suggest improvements
Ensures compliance with QA standards and best practices
Participates in developing and implementing automation testing specific to the needs
Qualification
Required
One of the following certifications: CND, CompTIA Network+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Cloud+, PenTest+, CompTIA Security+, Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
Bachelors degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or Software Engineering and 14-17 years or more relevant experience (will consider an additional 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree)
Proficiency in developing and executing test plans, conducting quality assurance checks, and ensuring product quality
Experience in managing test cases, performing defect tracking, and providing test reports
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, quality control processes, and test management tools
