Responsibilities
Lead financial reporting and ensure US GAAP compliance
Oversee accounting for purchased receivables, including settlements and collections, as well as credit line and foreign currency hedges
Collaborate with Operations and IT to optimize existing processes, controls, and reports associated with the factoring platform and data flows from the platform into the accounting system
Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning for potential platform and accounting system transformations
Report to CFO (Chief Financial Officer)
Seamlessly partner with other stakeholders internally
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in accounting or finance
10+ years of accounting experience, including leadership roles
Background in factoring, asset-based lending, or financial services
Prior experience in a high-growth or fast-paced environment owned by PE or VC
Process improvement or systems implementation experience
Fund accounting
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Preferred
CPA preferred
