Responsibilities
Manage, coach, and develop a team of professional-level analysts; oversee hiring, performance management, and workload balancing
Oversee delivery of routine, ad hoc, and high-visibility reports and dashboards, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and SLA compliance
Serve as a primary escalation point for complex or sensitive reporting requests
Translate business requirements into clear technical direction
Provide technical guidance and review (SQL/logic) to support quality and unblock delivery as needed
Partner with internal and external stakeholders through clear, concise communication and effective meeting leadership
Drive consistent use of standards, documentation, and scalable reporting practices
Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement
Ensure appropriate governance, including PHI/PII handling and audit readiness
Manage a range of moderate to complex activities involving data analysis
Manage, participate and coordinate the development and implementation of new/revised systems and procedures, such as developing new methods of analysis or sampling guidelines
Qualification
Required
Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
Preferred
5–7 years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or business intelligence, including team leadership or lead responsibilities highly preferred
Strong SQL proficiency (Oracle) highly preferred
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, translate requirements, and deliver in a regulated or SLA-driven environment preferred
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills preferred
