Responsibilities
Provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) to ensure personal care and comfort
Maintain a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients
Perform additional skills upon evaluation and approval through the Student Nurse Intern program, which includes:
* NG Removal
* Changing NG Cannisters
* IV Removal
* Emptying of Hemovac and JP drains
Qualification
Required
Enrolled or accepted into an accredited nursing program. Must provide proof of enrollment or acceptance, listing the program enrolled in with a formal letter from the school's registrar
Basic Life Support certifications are required within 30 days of hire. (provided through the Student Nursing Program)
