Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage VMware virtualization solutions in alignment with organizational objectives
Monitor and enhance virtualization performance and availability
Administer, configure, and maintain Linux/Unix operating systems to ensure peak performance and security
Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to Linux/Unix systems
Collaborate with IT teams to evaluate infrastructure needs and implement best practices
Provide expert technical support and guidance during incidents and performance issues
Create and maintain thorough documentation of systems, protocols, and best practices
Perform and support disaster recovery activities
Participate in on-call rotation to provide support for critical systems and resolve incidents as they arise
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business-Related Discipline
At least 10 years of experience in operational support of enterprise server ecosystem
At least 5 years of Windows Server, Linux OS (Redhat, Ubuntu) and Virtualization platforms such as VMWare, VXRail, vSAN and NSX, Nutanix
At least 3 years of server automation activities or Infrastructure as code (CHEF, Amelia, PowerShell, Cloudinit), GitHUB
At least 5 year with ServiceNow or another formal Service Management platform and/or methodology
Experience with Microsoft Windows 2016 and 2019,2022 and 2025 operating systems
Experience with supporting mission critical infrastructure operations
Proven track record of designing/deployment of Public cloud offerings primarily in AWS and AZURE
Proven track record of driving and leading large-scale architectural or delivery projects throughout an entire business through to completion
Exposure to various aspects of architecture practices: business, application, data, security, infrastructure, and governance Working knowledge of architecture frameworks
One or more of the below active hands-on practice: Linux Shell scripting, Microsoft PowerShell, Python, Cloudinit, Visual Studio Code : Coding, GitHub : Versioning and code management, PostMan : Testing , Working with API

Experience in managing cloud and on-prem infrastructure

Experience in networking, storage & Backup environments

Proficient in collaborating with internal customers at all levels to identify issues, propose solutions, and drive change
Proven ability to analyze complex problems and deconstruct them into manageable, actionable components
Experience in data protection strategies, business continuity planning, and disaster recovery configurations and execution
Excellent listening capabilities and teamwork-oriented approach
Demonstrated initiative and a proactive attitude
