Responsibilities
Perform hands-on data profiling, establish data flows, and identify patterns or anomalies within general ledgers and financial systems
Use analytics tools and platforms (e.g., SQL, Python, Databricks, and others) to handle complex datasets and develop quantifiable findings for investigations and regulatory matters
Support forensic accounting teams and outside counsel by preparing work product and technical findings
Articulate technical findings clearly for both technical peers and non-technical client audiences
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to help develop new capabilities and support group growth
Qualification
Required
2–3 years of relevant experience, ideally within a major consulting firm or specialized advisory environment
2-3+ years of experience using SQL and Python, preferably with additional experience in Tableau, Power BI, R, and / or cloud-based analytics platforms (e.g., Databricks, BigQuery, etc.)
Deep technical proficiency in SQL and Python is required
Bachelor's or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related technical field
A proactive mentality with the ability to handle ambiguity and high-stakes, and time-sensitive situations
Strong written and verbal communication skills are important
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
