Accounts Payable Associate

Responsibilities
Insure accuracy and completeness of accounts payable information utilizing 3-way matching
Data entry of accounts payable and quantity information coordinating with purchasing as needed
Verify proper authorization of accounts payable invoices
Apply current sales tax rules and ensure accuracy
Resolve discrepancies with vendors and company staff
Prepare month and year end schedules for accruals
Work statements each month to insure clear accounts
Assist the department as needed
Qualification
Required
Strong math and accounting skills
3 years of relevant experience is required
Must be an accounting professional with the ability to multi-task, interface with multiple departments and manage high volume payables
Ability to consistently meet deadlines
Must be proficient in excel, construction and accounting applications
Preferred
Degree not required but accounting coursework preferred
