Responsibilities
Consolidate multiple Jira Service Desk instances into one unified service portal
Design workflows, forms, queues, SLAs, and automations that improve response and routing
Partner with stakeholders to capture requirements and map current processes
Integrate Jira Service Desk with APIs and scripts to reduce manual steps
Document configurations, standards, and operating procedures in Confluence
Support Linux based environments tied to the HPC mission
Qualification
Required
Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Twenty years of experience as a Systems Engineer on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity
Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university
Five years of additional Systems Engineering experience may substitute for the degree
Linux CLI and Linux tools experience
Extensive Jira Service Desk configuration, administration, and customization experience
UI and UX design and development experience using relevant tools and frameworks
API integration and scripting experience using Bash and Python
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Atlassian tool suite experience, Jira and Confluence
Preferred
Agile software development or project delivery experience
Git source control experience
