Akkodis is seeking a Lead Android Developer for a Contract with a client in Owings Mills, MD. You will lead architectural and design decisions and mentor developers to ensure high‑quality, scalable applications.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and delivery of advanced Android applications, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and mobile standards
Mentor and guide junior and mid‑level developers, fostering technical growth and ensuring high-quality code contributions
Collaborate with architecture, UX, DevOps, and security teams to drive technical decisions and deliver scalable, secure solutions
Oversee full application lifecycle activities—including development, testing, debugging, publishing, and ongoing support
Conduct code reviews, provide actionable feedback, and enforce best practices in coding, testing, and performance optimization
Lead discussions on tactical vs. strategic approaches, making informed decisions and highlighting trade‑offs to stakeholders

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field

Demonstrated ability to lead development teams, make architectural decisions, and drive high‑impact technical solutions
