Responsibilities
Execute electrical design verification testing for implantable medical devices
Develop, write, and execute test protocols and verification reports
Perform hands-on bench testing of electrical and electromechanical components
Set up and operate lab equipment (e.g., power supplies, oscilloscopes, DAQs, signal generators)
Troubleshoot test failures and document results, deviations, and root cause findings
Collaborate with R&D, Systems, and Quality teams to ensure verification requirements are met
Support design verification documentation in compliance with regulated design controls
Qualification
Required
BS in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
5-10 years of industry experience and proven ability to perform electrical verification or test engineering in a regulated medical device environment
Proven ability to author and execute verification protocols and reports
Familiarity with design controls, verification & validation (V&V), and quality system requirements
Strong documentation, data analysis, and technical communication skills
Programming experience (LabVIEW, MATLAB, C/C++, Python, etc.)
Preferred
Hands-on lab experience with electrical testing of complex devices (implantable experience strongly preferred)
