Building Services - Technician
Touchmark is Spokane’s leading full-service retirement community, enriching the lives of residents and their families through five-star hospitality, services, and amenities. They are currently seeking a Building Services Technician to assist the building services team in maintaining the community and grounds through repairs, renovation work, and routine maintenance.

Responsibilities
Be knowledgeable about and promote environmental safety for yourself and others
Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when assisting with residents, family members, team members and visitors
Perform repairs, parts runs, and preventative maintenance
Qualification
Required
A valid drivers license
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Have at least one (1) years' experience in a similar environment with strong knowledge of maintenance processes
Excellent communication skills, high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Physically capable of turning, stooping, bending, stretching, pushing/pulling, moving equipment and furniture, and able to lift up to 75 pounds
Be able to read, write and speak English
Willing to learn CPR/First Aid certification
Be able to complete and follow Touchmark Vehicle Safety Program
Be able to work both inside and outside year round
Preferred
Hospital or Retirement Community experience preferred!
Education related to building maintenance or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience in building maintenance strongly preferred
