Responsibilities
Coordinate staffing coverage across assigned units by aligning personnel availability, skill mix, and established guidelines to support safe, high‑quality patient care
Partner with clinical leadership to plan future staffing patterns, manage employee requests (PTO, education, meetings), and ensure schedules remain within budget and departmental standards
Serve as a resource and educator for Kronos ESS and timecard functionality, responding to staff questions and resolving scheduling or timekeeping concerns
Utilize Kronos reporting and Microsoft Excel to collect, interpret, and maintain scheduling data, including timecard reconciliation and position control updates
Support the Staffing Office as needed by coordinating daily staffing assignments, updating Kronos with real‑time adjustments, and collaborating with system‑wide leadership to meet immediate staffing needs
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalency
2 years of experience in an administrative environment
Organization, time management, or customer service
Preferred
experience in a medical environment with personnel scheduling experience desired
Experience with Kronos scheduling and timekeeping systems is a plus!
