Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive validation strategies and test plans for SerDes interfaces on PCIe and 800G Ethernet
Define validation goals, objectives, and metrics to ensure product performance and reliability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and validate test methodologies
Provide support for production testing of SerDes interfaces to ensure functionality and performance meet design specifications
Work with manufacturing and operations teams to resolve any validation-related issues during the production process
Analyze test data to identify trends and issues, providing actionable insights to improve production test processes
Collaborate with hardware and software teams to develop and optimize firmware that supports SerDes validation activities
Assist in debugging and troubleshooting firmware-related issues affecting interface performance
Develop scripts and automation tools to improve and streamline firmware validation processes
Create detailed technical documentation, including test plans, test cases, and validation reports
Ensure documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and easily accessible to stakeholders
Identify opportunities for enhancement in validation processes and methodologies
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technological advancements related to high-speed communication interfaces
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with 7+ years experience, or Master's with 5+ years experience
Proven experience in SerDes validation with a focus on PCIe and Ethernet technologies
Strong understanding of high-speed interface standards such as PCIe and 800G Ethernet
Experience with test equipment and tools used in SerDes validation (e.g., oscilloscopes, BERTs, protocol analyzers)
Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation purposes
Experience in firmware development and debugging
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration skills
