Responsibilities
Optimize, improve, and productionize SkyViewCamera, our internal aircraft detection and tracking system, for reliable field deployment across dozens of sites
Design, train, validate, and deploy deep learning models for core perception tasks including object detection, tracking, and aircraft tail number recognition
Build and maintain automated data collection pipelines from field-deployed cameras to accelerate model iteration
Own camera calibration and setup workflows, improving accuracy and reducing on-site configuration time
Optimize real-time inference performance on edge hardware, working across the full pipeline from model architecture to deployment
Collaborate with the broader engineering team to integrate camera perception outputs with LiDAR-based tracking systems
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of experience in computer vision and machine learning
Strong proficiency in C++ and Python
Experience training and deploying deep learning models into production environments
Familiarity with computer vision pipelines and hardware acceleration (CUDA, OpenCV, GStreamer)
Bachelor's or Master's (preferred) degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
Preferred
Experience with ROS2
Experience with LiDAR-based perception systems
Experience with camera calibration, multi-camera systems, or sensor fusion
Background with autonomous vehicles, AMRs, AGVs, or similar robotic platforms
Familiarity with state estimation or multi-target tracking algorithms (Kalman filters, particle filters, JPDA, MHT)
Publications (CVPR, NeurIPS, ICML, etc.) or patents in computer vision or applied machine learning preferred
