Electrical Engineer
Cherokee Nation is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support government clients through scientific and engineering research and development. The role involves analyzing and developing complex electronic systems and performing related engineering tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities
Supports defense requirements with enhanced scientific/engineering research, development/limitation analysis, and reverse engineering analysis
Analysis development and production includes but is not limited to complex electronic systems, and/or equipment and can emphasize one or more areas pertaining to microelectronics, electronic hardware, circuits, sensors, guidance and control, signals, electromagnetic, electro-optical (EO)/ infrared (IR) and/or related areas associated with current and projected electronic systems and/or subsystems
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Current Secret clearance
Desired to have 12 years of experience conducting research, development, and production with at least one year of the experience within the last 2 years
Desired to have a Master's degree in a related field
State of Florida Professional Engineer license, or PE endorsement licensure in Florida if active PE license is from another state
Demonstrates professional knowledge through one or more of the following certifications: Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP), Master Certified Electronics Technician (CETma)
Demonstrates ability to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, and/or technically advanced
Demonstrates ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other organizations, and engineering disciplines
Demonstrates ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction
Demonstrates ability to collaborate and work with other USG entities on information sharing, driving development, and addressing disputes and conflict resolution
Demonstrates ability to develop and produce concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for non-engineer stakeholders
Provides expert guidance on selecting, designing, and applying engineering methodologies
Advanced ability to design, build, and integrate systems as required
Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
