Lead/StaffMcLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Lead Database Engineer to design, optimize, and scale enterprise database solutions that support complex, data-driven business operations. This role involves technical leadership, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with application teams to ensure data security and reliability.

Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise‑scale database solutions
Drive database architecture decisions with a focus on performance, scalability, security, and reliability
Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, data integrity issues, and availability risks
Partner with engineering, infrastructure, and business teams to support mission‑critical applications
Establish and enforce database standards, best practices, and operational excellence
Mentor and guide team members, providing technical leadership and thought partnership
This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards
