Manufacturing Program Chief Engineer
Ford Motor Company is seeking a Manufacturing Program Chief Engineer to lead End-to-End Manufacturing Engineering for a Vehicle Line. This role involves overseeing a multi-functional team and ensuring that manufacturing requirements are integrated into the vehicle architecture while delivering on safety, quality, cost, and delivery objectives.

Responsibilities
Drive Manufacturing Requirements into Vehicle Architecture Development Process
Analyze Manufacturing Key Process Indicators (KPI’s) and implement corrective actions to deliver Business Objectives
Develop and Execute Strategies for improving Manufacturing Productivity and Quality
Drive adoption of New Technologies and Advanced Manufacturing methods
Utilize Manufacturing Knowledge to Identify potential risks and implement preventive measures
Provide Team Leadership in addressing Technical Challenges
Collaborate with cross-functional activities (Product Development, Purchasing, Marketing, Studio and Assembly Plant) to ensure Quality of Manufacturability and Cost-Effective Production Methods
Implement Virtual Manufacturing Tool Set
Meet Program Financial Targets for Facility, Tooling and Labor
Lead all phases of New Model Product Launch at Assembly Plant(s) including Tooling and Facility Installations
Qualification
Required
8+ Years Manufacturing Engineering Leadership Experience
Strong Project Management skills and result-oriented mindset
Proven ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams
Experience leading Project from Concept to Manufacturing
Deep understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
Ability to set long term goals and implement Manufacturing Strategies
Experience in Cost Control and Resource allocation to maximize efficiency
Candidates for positions with Ford Motor Company must be legally authorized to work in the United States
