Responsibilities
Operating and managing Rubrik hardware to ensure reliable data backup and recovery solutions
Building and implementing data configurations and architectural solutions
Maintaining and upgrading large-scale data systems and hardware environments
Monitoring and analyzing system performance to identify and resolve capacity or integrity issues
Providing technical support and troubleshooting for data-related incidents
Collaborating with engineering teams to provide guidance and consultation for new data projects
Automating routine tasks and managing deployments across the environment
Establishing and following documentation standards and security protocols for data assets
Supporting high-availability strategies and business continuity plans for critical data systems with a focus on backup verification and audit readiness
Qualification
Required
Experience managing enterprise-level hardware and storage solutions, specifically Rubrik
Familiarity with AWS and its ecosystem of cloud services for data management
Ability to design, build, and deploy data architectures at scale
Experience with automation and orchestration tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef
A solid understanding of data security management, including encryption and access controls
Proficiency in system performance tuning and capacity planning
Ability to coordinate technical projects from initial design through to implementation
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional technical teams
Preferred
Familiarity with these technologies SFTP, Control M, REST API, Dell Storage, and NetApp
