The intern will assist in ensuring the data center's electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems operate at 100% availability while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining critical data center equipment and driving innovation to reduce operational costs.

Responsibilities

Assist with operating and maintaining all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within the data center
Serve as a technical resource to support Amazon within its owned and operated data centers
Maintain better than 99.999% uptime for mission-critical servers
Drive innovation while reducing operational costs in the facilities
Respond to hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and operations

Required

2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience
1+ years of computer networking experience
High school or equivalent diploma
