Responsibilities
Safety Leadership: Champion and lead safety initiatives to ensure a safe and compliant work environment
Achieving Operational Goals: Meet or exceed production targets and support people initiatives in alignment with unit objectives
Performance Monitoring: Track team performance against established goals; implement corrective actions as needed to maintain or improve results
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and lead the implementation of improvement plans
Root Cause Problem Solving: Analyze issues to their root causes and implement sustainable solutions to prevent recurrence
Effective Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication within the team and across departments to ensure alignment and transparency
Labor Relations Management: Address and resolve labor relations and conflict issues within the team in a fair and timely manner
Visual Management: Maintain and utilize visual systems to track performance and communicate key metrics within the area of responsibility
Team Leadership: Provide clear direction, motivation, and support to team members to foster engagement and accountability
Qualification
Required
Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a production environment
Minimum of 1 year of experience with metals
