Responsibilities
Process multi-state biweekly payroll, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance
Audit and process payroll changes (new hires, terminations, leaves, salary changes, deductions) to ensure accuracy
Help resolve payroll issues and employee questions in a timely, and confidential manner
Run payroll reports and perform reconciliations
Other duties as assigned or required
Qualification
Required
4+ years experience in multi-state payroll
Strong knowledge of US payroll regulations, wage and hour laws and tax requirements
Experience using Microsoft Office, ADP Vantage, Workday and Oracle timekeeping systems
Strong attention to detail, accuracy and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
Excellent communication and customer service skills
In depth understanding of multi state payroll regulations, tax laws, and statutory reporting requirements
Excellent problem-solving abilities, particularly in identifying and mitigating risks in payroll processes
High level of integrity and ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments
Preferred
Experience processing high volume payroll for an organization that is 5k employees or more is preferred
CPP or FPC certified is a plus
