Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional programs: Drive end-to-end execution of O&M and remanufacturing initiatives for BESS assets, coordinating engineering, field operations, supply chain, and customer teams to deliver reliable, cost-effective lifecycle support
Ensure global obligations are met: Implement compliant processes and software tools to meet regulatory, safety, warranty, and performance standards across all BESS deployments and remanufacturing operations
Align objectives and stakeholders: Build consensus among leadership, operations, customers, and vendors; translate strategic energy storage goals into prioritized roadmaps and resolve cross-team conflicts
Provide strategic system guidance to optimize BESS performance, remanufacturing operations, and field service efficiency across hardware, software, and data subsystems
Triage and resolve issues in real-time field operations, diagnostic workflows, or remanufacturing processes to minimize downtime and asset loss
Define system requirements for new diagnostics, software upgrades, or remanufacturing workflows in collaboration with R&D and IT
Lead change management, including risk assessments, validation testing, training, and phased rollouts of process/software updates
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in technical program management, O&M, or field service leadership within BESS, energy storage, or related industrial systems
Proven background managing O&M and Field Service programs for BESS or high-throughput energy systems
Direct experience supporting battery/BESS remanufacturing operations, including cell grading, pack rebuilds, quality control, yield optimization, and end-of-life processing
Hands-on experience supporting BESS systems and deployments, including technical campaigns, performance tuning, and field upgrades
Demonstrated expertise in solar and energy infrastructure, with a track record of successful field service technical campaigns involving battery lifecycle management
Proven ability to support cross-functionally across engineering, business development, logistics, finance, spares, operations, EHS, quality, and training teams
Strong project coordination skills, both in-house (cross-functional engineering sprints) and customer-facing (deployment reporting, regulatory submissions, SLA management)
Ability to support remote jobsites, construction sites, and BESS field operations — including on-site troubleshooting, commissioning support, and coordination with field technicians
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
2+ years in technical program management within hardware/software integration or industrial automation; or 5+ years in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering for such products
Proficiency with program management tools and methodologies (e.g., Jira, roadmapping, risk tracking, and collaboration platforms)
Preferred
Experience with data processing, diagnostics, or industrial automation strongly preferred
