Responsibilities

Rapidly design and build scalable software applications in a cloud-based environment

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to discover requirements, cut through end users dictating implementation, and identify the right design

Share the team’s commitment to curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Own the use of software engineering best practices, including distributed version control, participation in team code review, and automation for building, testing, and deploying production code

On-call troubleshooting of production software issues: achieve rapid corrective action, identify root cause, and specify prevention

Ensure data integrity, traceability, accuracy, and security

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or another quantitative discipline, with 3+ years of relevant industry software development experience

Fluency in Python and SQL

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Preferred

Scaling software at a manufacturing startup
