This role involves supporting targets projects, including the development of target vehicles, analysis, and reporting of test events, while collaborating with a dynamic team of experts.

Responsibilities

Will support targets projects with the development of target vehicles

Support target teams in all aspects of target design, analysis, and test, including requirements development and assessment, modeling and simulation, test analysis, and reporting

Support program offices in the analysis and reporting of flight, ground, and characterization test events

Technical focus areas can include any of the following list:

Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC)

Radar Cross Section (RCS) signatures

Optical signatures

Telemetry

Collaborate with a dynamic team of experts in multiple technical areas to develop analysis and engineering tools

Utilize knowledge, skills, and experience with missile characteristics (physical, kinematics, signatures) and engineering to support engineering activities and data product development

Other duties as assigned

Required

Master's degree in STEM with 12 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree in STEM with seven (7) years of experience

Experience with MATLAB, Python, and other programming languages

Must be able to work in a dynamic environment and have the individual flexibility to work multiple actions simultaneously and resolve time-sensitive issues

Strong communication skills to include oral, written, and briefing

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Must be a U.S. citizen and have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Must be able to travel up to 15% of the time

Preferred

Familiarity with M&S and/or DoW programs and processes

Experience with M&S flight testing program

Experience in any or all of the following disciplines: Design, Trajectory, GNC, Radar Cross Section (RCS) Signatures, Optical Signatures, Telemetry

Experience with threat system technical data from the Intelligence Centers and MDA threat system models

Strong attention to detail and ability to efficiently perform multiple tasks

Ability to communicate detailed technical information to technical and non-technical personnel
