Responsibilities
Own MES applications and integrations with production systems (ERP, SCADA, PLCs)
Deploy and stabilize major MES releases for the site
Partner with Production and CI to prioritize the backlog based on operational impact
Execute fixes and enhancements to MES and system integrations
Deliver shop-floor-ready, user-centric solutions
Troubleshoot MES, interfaces, and production system issues
Manage defects, enhancements, and technical debt through a structured backlog
Collaborate with MES engineers at other factories to align solutions and standards
Qualification
Required
3–7+ years in MES or manufacturing systems in an industrial environment
Hands-on experience supporting factory operations
Ignition experience (required)
MES configuration and deployment experience
Integration with SCADA, PLCs, and ERP systems
Working knowledge of SQL and manufacturing data flows
Understanding of OPC UA and industrial networks
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities
Systems thinking and process‑oriented mindset
Ability to balance long‑term architecture with short‑term operational needs
Leadership and ownership of complex technical initiatives
Strong operational and user mindset
Able to prioritize and execute independently
Comfortable working directly with production and CI teams
Clear communicator across sites and functions
