The Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer will manage and execute the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of the organization’s web-based applications, providing technical leadership and mentoring other staff.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack web applications, including front-end interfaces, back-end services, APIs, and database components
Lead technical architecture decisions, including system design, data flow, integrations, and scalability planning
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established standards and best practices
Resolve complex technical issues across the application stack including troubleshooting and debugging
Manage and optimize databases, queries, and data models to ensure performance, reliability, and security
Implement and maintain integrations with third-party systems, platforms, and services
Spearhead code reviews and enforce development standards, security practices, and version control processes
Collaborate with product, operations, and other internal teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions aligned with organizational goals
Contribute to DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, environment configuration, and cloud infrastructure support
Monitor and evaluate system performance and reliability; recommend and implement improvements
Document system architecture, processes, and technical workflows
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers, junior staff, or contractors
Qualification
Required
7+ years of progressive experience in software development, including full-stack application development
Proven experience owning systems end-to-end, from design and architecture through deployment and support
Experience leading or significantly contributing to architecture and system design decisions
Strong proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular or similar)
Strong back-end development experience (e.g., Node.js, Python, Ruby, PHP, Java, or similar)
Experience designing and working with RESTful APIs and system integrations
Database experience (SQL and/or NoSQL) including schema design and performance optimization
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern deployment practices
Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows
Understanding of application security principles and data protection practices
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
Applicants must currently reside in Oahu, Hawaii to be considered for this role
This role is based on-site at our Oahu Office
