2026 Voyager Summer Internship - Government Relations

Responsibilities
Research defense policy developments, legislation, and executive branch activity
Map Voyager suppliers and partners by congressional district
Draft policy primes, issue briefs, and internal readouts
Attend or listen to Hill briefings, hearings, and policy events; produce summaries and insights
Assist with meeting preparation and follow-up materials
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university in a related major; senior standing by fall 2026
Interest in defense, national security, and government affairs
Strong research and writing skills; ability to synthesize complex policy issues into clear summaries
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to travel for in-person orientation and program kickoff as well as for final presentation at program completion
To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
