Structures Technician

They are hiring Structures Technicians to perform thorough inspections of aircraft structures, execute repairs, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities
Execute sheet metal repairs and modifications on various structural components, including but not limited to the wing, fuselage, and tail sections
Fabricate and/or modify structural modifications on aircraft parts
Perform minor structural repairs on composite components either attached or detached
Perform mechanical, electrical removals, and installations as required
Interpret and follow aircraft maintenance manuals, blueprints, and technical specifications
Assist with complex structural repairs on/off aircraft
Utilize precision measuring tools and equipment to ensure accurate repairs and compliance with aviation regulations
Inspect confined areas of airframe
Stay current on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to aviation structural maintenance
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 1 year of structural sheet metal repair and modification experience or sustained similar experience
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Knowledge of aircraft structures and materials
Able to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings
Possess (basic) set of tools
Ability to effectively communicate aircraft maintenance actions both verbally and in writing
Comfortable working with technology / entering aircraft maintenance actions into a computer-based system
Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) if applicable
Preferred
3+ years of experience
FAA-issued Airframe or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license
Corporate jet aircraft or commercial aircraft experience
MRO experience, CRJ airframe experience and/or Military aircraft maintenance experience (Depot/Isochronal/Phase inspections)
Completed Sheetmetal A/C Tech school or equivalent schooling
