The Electrical Engineer I will work on multi-disciplined design projects related to power distribution and renewable energy, performing field surveys, engineering design, and CAD drafting under the supervision of a senior engineer.
Construction
Responsibilities
Produce preliminary and final design drawings using computer aided drafting systems
Responsible for multi-disciplinary designs related to power distribution, renewable energy, and associated infrastructure
Perform engineering calculations and review/apply codes and standards required for the preparation of construction drawings
Assist Senior Engineers and Designers with system design to ensure project engineering activities comply with company and contract requirements and support overall construction schedule
Perform field surveys and prepare accurate field sketches; record verifications, prepare documentation and construction prints
Field check design layouts and provide technical support for construction, including participation in construction planning, execution, quality control, and completion of the work
Maintain project records for assigned work, package records per contract requirements and facilitate turnover to the client’s representative
Responsible for ongoing communication and timely identification of issues to the PE and pending or actual changes to the work performed that may impact costs, schedule, contract or customer relationship

Qualification
Required
BS in Engineering
1 year of Electrical Engineering experience required
AutoCAD experience is required
Travel as needed
Preferred
EIT or PE is a plus
BS in Electrical Engineering or similar
Knowledge of NEC and NESC preferred
