Responsibilities
Support the development of advanced systems, including the design, development, integration and testing of Air Data systems and software efforts
Lead teams of engineers that cover multiple engineering disciplines
Main interface to customers, internal support groups, and external suppliers
Provide successful execution of complex engineering projects
Implement and enforce security measures and compliance standards to safeguard systems and data
Lead the deployment and configuration of systems, ensuring they are installed correctly, tested rigorously, and perform optimally
Provide technical leadership in identifying and resolving system issues, minimizing downtime, and ensuring systems remain operational
Identify opportunities for process and system improvements, implement enhancements, and contribute to the optimization of operations
Qualification
Required
9 or more years of experience in software engineering and project leadership
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as systems engineering, software engineering, or directly related field of study
Comprehensive knowledge in systems integration, implementation, and troubleshooting
3 or more years programming in C
Strong technical background in hardware and software systems
Proficiency in software engineering tools and methodologies
Familiarity with avionics and other aircraft systems
Ability to work under minimal supervision
Preferred
Knowledge of DO-178B/C and ARP4754A
Experience in leading complex system integration projects
Effectively able to work in a teaming environment with members located in many Aerospace locations across the globe
Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies
Passion for innovation and continuous learning
Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving capability
Experience in Microsoft Windows based tool development environments
Flexibility and willingness to assume a variety of software engineering and support roles
Individuals that quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts
Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done
Ability to adapt with project changes as needed
