Event & Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

Set up and break down events by moving tables, chairs, and equipment according to specifications
Read and interpret architectural drawings, diagrams, and floor plans to ensure accurate event configurations
Coordinate with event planners and clients to meet specific requirements and timelines
Conduct regular site inspections and safety assessments to maintain secure, well-maintained facilities
Execute preventive and corrective maintenance including basic carpentry, painting, flooring repairs, and equipment servicing
Replace ceiling tiles, door hardware, window treatments, and other building components as needed
Respond promptly to work orders and client maintenance requests
Relocate office furniture, machinery, and equipment as requested by tenants and management
Maintain positive relationships with clients, property management agents, and vendor partners
Ensure all tasks are completed accurately and within established timeframes

Required

High school diploma or GED
0-2 years of facilities, maintenance, or related experience
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
Proficient use of hand tools, cordless drills, and material handling equipment
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to read technical drawings and floor plans
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Self-motivated with ability to work independently and collaboratively
Effective time management and ability to work under pressure
Flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities
Professional, confident, and energetic demeanor
Physical capability to lift, move, and manipulate furniture and equipment while maintaining the highest standards of facility operations and client service
Must pass background, drug/alcohol, and MVR screening process
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
