CCO Videography Intern (2026)
YMCA of the Rockies is dedicated to building a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all through its programs and staff. The Videography Intern will be responsible for capturing, editing, and sharing video content for summer camp, collaborating with other interns and staff to produce various media content.

Responsibilities
Create a safe space for all campers, families, and staff. Promote safe work practices that allow for development and growth for all
Possess the mental, social, and emotional skills necessary to build rapport and positive relationships, putting camper needs first
Respond to camper and customer requests for service, troubleshoot problems, and develop solutions in a patient and respectful manner
Contribute to a cooperative and positive camp community; be a team player
Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of camp facilities. Report any repairs in a timely manner
Assist other departments as needed
Participate in staff training prior to working with campers
Support camper development and growth, guiding individual campers in participation in group, unit, and all-camp activities
Follow YMCA of the Rockies marketing and communications best practices, ensuring all photographs and videos are stored in the correct company locations for YMCA access and use
Edit (with assistance) web content, ads, brochures, and newsletters written by the Camp Chief Ouray team as necessary
Produce one (1) weekly session video showcasing traditional camp staff, campers, and activities
Produce two (2) videos that highlight a Leadership in Training Program, Trekker Program, or Adventure Trip
Produce one (1) summer staff video recapping the season for the staff banquet
Assist in producing the 'Impact of Camp' video to help raise funds for the scholarship program
Develop videos that portray life and activities at Camp Chief Ouray
Manage videos on the website and social media platforms
Write an End of Season Report and program evaluation, including reflections on programs, leadership, site, facilities, and recommendations for future improvement
Qualification
Required
Experience in videography, filmmaking, communications, marketing, and/or video editing software
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently, meeting all deadlines
Ability to collaborate with the Camp Chief Ouray Media Team and the YMCA of the Rockies internal marketing team
Self-starter and creative problem solver who takes initiative, works independently (with approval), and confidently brings ideas to life
Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification

Must meet acceptable criminal background check standards
All other duties as assigned
Preferred
Willingness to comply with YMCA and DOT rules to be approved to operate YMCA vehicles, including 15-passenger minibuses
Must conduct all vehicle operations within the DOT Regulatory Requirements that apply to the position's specific driving duties
Must have a valid U.S. Driver's License or, if required, a Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
Must have a satisfactory driving safety record (verified by MVR review)
Must have the ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card (complete DOT physical) to perform driving duties
Must pass a pre-employment drug test
Must complete the YMCA driver training program
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
