Medical Education Bachelor's Intern

Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine is seeking a Medical Education Bachelor's Intern to assist in the provision of information and maintenance of databases. The intern will work on assessment and evaluation projects, contributing to the improvement of learning assessment and curricular evaluation for the medical school.

Learning new applications needed to complete assignments or support the execution of business objectives

Required

Pursuing a bachelors degree or have graduated from an accredited university within the last year
High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required
Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets (sorting, filtering, basic formulas)
Strong attention to detail; able to follow instructions
Skilled at reviewing documents and extracting information
Basic knowledge of survey design, data management and descriptive statistics (frequencies, mean, median, standard deviation) a plus
Familiarity with online survey tools, project management (Asana), and/or AI platforms (e.g., Co-Pilot, Chat GPT) a plus
Aptitude to perform data and process analytics and formulating solutions
Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Preferred

3.0 GPA or above
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to build effective working relationships as well as strong interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to learn quickly and experience producing high quality work in short periods of time
