This Apple Vision Pro team is looking for an AR/VR Applications Engineer to help push the limits on the next generation of spatial computing for their platform, defining the overall experience of their platforms and impacting how customers interact with immersive content.

Responsibilities
Define the overall experience of our platforms; ultimately impacting the way our customers use our products for interacting and experiencing immersive content
Create amazing and delightful user experiences such as AR Quick Look and Measure app on iOS
Enhance the system Quick Look experience and develop system level frameworks and technologies enabling these interactive experiences, in close collaboration with creative teams across Apple
Work closely with Apple's framework teams and Human Interface designers - pushing to think outside-the-box, and solve incredibly challenging and interesting problems in the AR/VR space
Work with technologies such as RealityKit, UlKit and ARKit
Qualification
Required
8-12+ years experience in software development
Proficiency in an application programming language, such as C/C++, Objective-C, Swift, etc
Experience using Apple development tools and APIs
BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Preferred
Experience with building AR applications and user facing experiences
Understanding of iOS system architecture, XPC, Extensions and how that affects solutions
Proficient in mathematics for 3D realtime applications and volumetric experiences (linear algebra)
Experience with app development concepts using frameworks like UlKit, ARKit, RealityKit etc
Attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for AR/VR technologies
Detail-oriented approach to solving problems and building new things
Proof of concept development expertise
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience building complex applications that are functional, beautiful and delightful
Experience delivering high quality software to end users
Proficiency in iOS development practices
